RAÚL, THE SILENCE OF THE RAILS
An avalanche came over my house, my neighbor Raúl warned me and I managed to save my whole family. The river took my motivation, but Raúl reconstructed everything he had in a few months. In his adolescence, for denouncing the theft of rails from the lane, he was beheaded, mutilated and his body was thrown into the river. He survived, but the scar on his throat reminds him of the importance of silence for the powerful.
His overflowing imagination is the basis of his resilience. He invented a locomotive, built bridges and recovered rails abandoned by the state to obtain his livelihood. Today its train takes tourists to beautiful waterfalls, but its former executioners threaten to displace it, they want to put their own railroad. He faces the unknown world of laws and licenses where personal and political interests govern.
I will accompany Raúl on this journey, will he be able to legitimize his situation or, on the contrary, will his dreams collapse before the bureaucracy and personal interests?
